Why an Adjacency Product, Not a Standalone SKU

Organic lecithin and organic sunflower oil are two products of the same processing line. The certified-organic seed enters the plant, gets pressed into oil, and the "phospholipid fraction" yields lecithin. When the facility is certified organic and the seed chain is in place, both products run in one stream.
That means a single supplier audit, a single FSVP package, a single certification envelope, and shared logistics. For a customer that wants both an organic emulsifier and an organic oil (e.g. for a premium dressing or active dispersion in a nutraceutical), this is closing two needs with one supplier.

Applications

Premium Culinary & Retail Format

Organic bottled sunflower oils on Whole Foods, Sprouts, Erewhon, and Thrive Market shelves are a growing segment. Whole Foods and Erewhon require USDA NOP certification from private-label suppliers — our product qualifies.

Dressings, Sauces, Marinades

Organic premium dressings and sauces use organic sunflower oil as the base oil (no partial hydrogenation, neutral flavor, high oxidative stability from elevated oleic acid content).

Nutraceutical Active Carriers

In liquid supplements and capsules, organic oil serves as a carrier for lipophilic actives (CoQ10, vitamin D, K2, omega-3). The organic certification carries through to the finished product — critical for certified-organic brands.

Organic Cosmetics & Personal Care

Sunflower oil is a standard ingredient in clean beauty — serums, creams, hair oils, and baby-care formulations. Lines aiming for USDA NOP on the finished product require certified-organic raw materials.

Why It Matters

Lecithin adjacency. Supplied in parallel with organic lecithin — two premium organic SKUs from one supplier, one FSVP package.
Dual certification. USDA NOP + EU Organic — access to U.S., European, and Canadian markets without additional validation.
Production purity. Cold-pressed, non-GMO (sunflower is inherently non-GMO), 0 ppm hexane.
Oxidative stability. Elevated oleic acid (~65%) — storage and heat stability that matter for finished products with long shelf life.

Quality & Compliance

Full certification stack: USDA NOP, EU Organic, FSSC 22000 v6.0, ISO 22000:2018, Halal, Kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified. Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis covering the fatty-acid profile, acid and peroxide values, heavy metals, mycotoxins, and microbiological panel. Regulatory status — FDA recognized food, no application restrictions.

Pre-Orders and Timeline

Launch in 2027, in parallel with organic lecithin. Pilot batches possible earlier under framework contract. Letters of Interest for retail partners and anchor-customer pre-orders are accepted now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What packaging is available?
